As today is our last day of term, I just wanted to send a quick email wishing you all a fantastic summer and thanking you for your support over the last year.
Over the summer, we will be undertaking some rennovations to the outside of the building, not least of which will be a new roof, so I hope those of you who are returning next year can enjoy the smart new look to the building when we start again in September! Over the coming 12 months, we are also hoping to invest in improving the outdoor area, as well as the interior of the building - these are big projects, and represent a big investment for us, so every single fundraising event is important to help us improve the setting for the children - thank you all once again for supporting these events, and a special thank you to our fundraising committee who have worked so hard over the last 12 months to plan and run the events. Hopefully next year will be as successful - keep buying raffle tickets/buying clothes/eating cakes (my speciality is the last one)!
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the staff, who have worked tirelessly to make the pre-school a fun, happy and safe learning environment for the children. We will sadly be saying goodbye to Miss Liz at the end of this term, and I'm sure you will join me in wishing her the very best of luck for the future, it has been a pleasure to have her as part of the team. Also, as you will know, Mrs Jones is currently on sick leave, however, she would like to pass on her best wishes to you all and wishes all the children good luck in their new school - she has really missed spending the last couple of weeks with them. I am sure you will join me in wishing her a speedy recovery, and hope that she will be able to come back to preschool soon.
I think it only remains for me to wish you all a fantastic summer - hopefully this weather will hold up! For those of you with children returning to pre-school next year, I look forward to filling up your inboxes again next term, and for those of you with children moving on - good luck in their new school!
