St Peters Pre-School is a registered charity, and is run by a volountary committee, who are responsible for overall management and organisation of the Pre-School. The Pre-School is governed by the regulations of the Charities Commission and Ofsted, and the committee are responsible for ensuring these regulations are adhered to. The committee is made up of parents, and is elected each year at the AGM.
The Pre-School is a charity, and all our funding is from fees and fundraising - we recieve no funding from the local authority, and, although we have a close working relationship with St Peters Primary School, we recieve no funding from them. Therefore, fundraising is critical, and, to this end, we have a separate Fundraising Committee. The Fundraising Committee is open to any parents, at any time of year, to get involved as much or as little as they wish.
